1979年的某日，John Ford Coley與他的好拍擋Dan Seals以格林美音樂獎得主的二人組合England Dan & John Ford Coley身份來到香港表演，當年香港正是經濟剛起步的年代。他們的到來，為當時被生活壓迫得透不過氣的香港人帶來一絲絲空間，他們以歌聲來感動了我們。
John Ford Coley是來自70年代最受歡迎之一的組合 “England Dan & John Ford Coley”。他們最受歡迎的歌曲包括 I’D REALLY LOVE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT, IT’S SAD TO BELONG, LOVE IS THE ANSWER, BROKEN HEARTED ME 和 JUST TELL ME YOU LOVE ME。在今次的演唱會中，John除了會表演他最經典的歌曲外，還會唱出當年的一些耳熟能詳的情歌包括 LONGER, DUST IN THE WIND 和 JUST WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST。

人老了，也是是時候與太太一起看老人家的演出！ 2009年第一次去香港藝術中心欣賞 John Ford Coley+ Julienne Taylor 演唱會，比我嘅感覺幾清新，可能係他的歌曲都比較多受歡迎的歌曲包括 ( I’d Really Love To See You Tonight、It’s Sad To Belong and Just Tell Me You Love Me (譚詠麟-情兩牽的原曲)。 當年睇 John 表演時唱出他最經典的歌曲外，還會唱出當年的一些經典情歌包括 (Longer、Time In A Bottle、Make It With You and Rhythm Of The Rain)等等。當晚更請了來自蘇格蘭的 Julienne Taylor，唱出一些她的個人大碟A Time For Love上的歌曲。至今都津津有味，今次76有咁好機會，你話點可以錯過呢? {:6_234:} {:6_234:} {:6_234:}
