Be extra cautious if you're actually going for the TRRS balanced one, it kinda put me off because of that weird warning IMHO...

Did you plug in your headphones/iems into the 901 before or after you turn it on? If you plugged/unplugged your iems/headphones while your 901 was on, that might have incurred some damage. My balanced amp came with a warning on a small piece of paper saying:
"Caution. To make sure your earphone will not be damaged, please make sure to switch to normal position when you use the balanced card to drive a regular unbalanced earphone. Also, please do not plug in or remove the earphone while the player is on."

In fact I have heard of this as well, so I will not go for TRRS in the forthcoming, and actually the single 3.5 out could already satisfy me

好似如果hot plug 嘅時間暫停音樂同較做零音量 就應該相對安全嘅，或者直情關機後先拔耳機線。
