Just a sharing, I've followed similar steps in past.But sometimes when Windows update needs a reboot , or when upgrading to Win10 need a reboot, then the windows is dead.Or even the whole HD is stuck at somewhere while booting.In short, it failed to boot.I can't recover in my very very limited Win knowledge.....
I really want to make voyage mpd and win use the same HD . But I'm not sure how to do it and keep them working together safely, in a long run {:1_256:}

Sorry to hear than. Actually, I have installed win 7 and voyage on single SSD. So far so good, it is quite stable. {:6_208:}

Thanks your technical help for my Liva X MPD setup, now it generally works.
interesting, since the preinstalled win10 of liva x is in eMMC (EFI mode), then MPD now in new added mSATA SSD (bios mode), so I can switch between Win10 and MPD without any MPD dual boot setting.

It is night time after finished database and dac settings, use ALSA output, seems really studio sound. (at low volume testing)
I'm finding the process of refreshing the database when I modified the music's data/taging/lower,upper case. It seems abit bother opposite to foobar upnp stream.

Yeah, the sound of voyage mpd is really extraordinary to other music OS.It's so worthwhile to use with, even the learning curve of installation and setup is steep.
And did u connect it with optical usb yet?
Foobar is a very convenient and free tag editor.And pls. remember to file these fields. {:1_254:}

I used foobar's tag tool before and use mp3tag currently, my experience I always keep only one type of tag version (e.g. keep ID3v2 instead of ID3v2+ID3v1) and save as ID3v2.3 instead of v2.4. Different tag reading style from different music software.
