還漏左提zodiac eclipse 384,不過器材沒有CLOCK IN的話,可以不考慮
若要方便易用music server包埋RIP CD一條龍, 個人會選man301,新WEISS聲不錯,很有生氣及耐聽
而去到這價位,個人喜好是音色行先,所以會選Burmester 099/ OrpheusDAD/ Jeff roland aries, 而3者均內置前級,有機會再省回一筆花費
不然就Metronome cd8, Audia Flight cd one, cd & cas雙修
2手的話,會選 Accoustic Art tube dac2 II, Weiss medea, Boulder 1012
DCS,MSB本身味道淡,要調到合自己胃口要太多投資,因此不考慮

I don't suggest add "Volume button and Display unit". Standard remote also can control the volume. (And no need climb up to the HiFi rack to change volume)
But...what is the source u plan to connect with this DAC??

I think if using a $50K DAC, u must setup a "clean" source for it.Otherwise will waste this good DAC, and the output sound will not $50K level... (Maybe at start, u can accept the sound, but I think u will need many time for setup the clean source later){:8_369:}
If u want simple, buy a Digital Streaming Player is best for u.{:8_390:}

Morning.Thanks Ching for useful advice.I agree that a clean source is necessary, but let's do it step-by-step.I'll buy the DAC first, then worry about the clean source, and eventually I'll work on the peripherals.Money is tight so I can't do all these at once.The DAC will go first.
MSB is still my first choice, and I am wondering if I should buy the volume and display upgrade.This will be my DAC for the next 10 years at least so I don't want to have any regrets.I don't care about the volume control but the display sounds useful.This also seems to be the only upgrade that can't be purchased later - it must be added at the time of purchase.I am also a bit worried that I won't be able to sell it in the secondary market if I don't have that upgrade.Decisions, decisions.
