alcon, ap and brembo are very very reputable brand for the braking system.a set of 6 pot can vary from ~2x,xxx to sky high (ultra light monoblock water cool).brembo has a division to cope with "road use" market so the price and performance can be managed to be lower.the second cheapest range is already using the same component from a competition spec.

honestly, generally for street use a very good pad is the first key.
