採用全新「R」系列的兇猛獵豹概念設計，車頭鬼面罩、車內的軚環及座椅椅背上也有著「R」字徽章，而且引擎蓋的進氣孔還有著「SUPERCHARGED」的字樣，特別是鬼面罩及輪圈中央的品牌廠徽改用了紅色底色，2014 XJR 處處散發著英倫貴族跑車氣息。動力系統方面，採用 5.0 升 V8 機械增壓引擎，可輸出 550 匹馬力 @ 6,500 轉以及 680 牛頓米扭力 @ 2,500 至 5,500 轉，並配備缸內直噴供油、DIVCT 雙可變氣門正時技術和 8 速波箱，由靜止加速至 100km/h 只需 4.6 秒，極速為 280km/h，還配上了 Dynamic Stability Control 和主動式電子控制差速器提供完美的駕馭享受。
