Mercedes-Benz 推出的 B-Class Electric Drive 以 B-Class 為基本，採用的純電力驅動系統，可提供 100kW 輸出功率 (134 匹馬力) 及 310 牛頓米扭力，從靜止加速至 100km/h 也只需要 10 秒，極速被限制在 160km/h。B-Class Electric Drive 充滿電後的持航距離為 200km，足夠應付日常一般所需，如以 240 V/40 A 充電規格來進行充電，可以 2 小時內充得行駛 60 公里所需的電力。B-Class Electric Drive 電動車預計在 2014 年將會推出準量產車版本。
