yes, without the xp5, the sound is flat... much worse than NDX, which I would like to buy earlier.

given NDX released much earlier than ND5 and I could probably keep the XP5 and replace ND5 later, I chose ND5 at the end.

now I'm still hesitate if I will acquire a separate NAS as I use the router's use port as NAS.

Received and running in.Due to the child issue, only can run several hours a day.Also need to compromise due to environment such as not using stands, using wifi network instead of LAN....but still feel the quality.
