BMW 於日內瓦車展其中一個焦點是廠方最受歡迎的 3 系新作︰3 Series Gran Turismo。雖然仍沿用四門設計，但是 Gran Turismo 的尾翼已改為可隨速改變而自動升降，更突出它的「好動」特質。有趣的車身和軸距分別拉長了 220mm 和 110mm，原因是廠方希望 Gran Turismo 既跑得又不失實用舒適，因此盡可能爭取更多車廂空間，最終前 / 後座空間同樣增加了 59mm。

另外後座椅背可根據 40︰20︰40 比例平放，以騰出更多空間，並與行李廂打通以放更長的物件。Gran Turismo 將會設有 318d、320d、320i 和 335i 總共 4 個型號，悉數採用 BMW TwinPower Turbo 及 Efficient Dynamics 技術直 4 引擎，馬力由 143hp 至 306hp 不等。此外它們全部備有 6 前速手動或 8 前速自動變速箱、免扭力電動轉向系統及 ConnectedDrive 電子系統。無論是動力、行車以至數碼娛樂均一應俱全。
