i m sure "NO" ,a1 was a flagship product,buy 51 or 05 n decode inside was the best way, i have a friend that use a1 with 05 as well , i can tell u its good using rca from bluray to a1(we don't have other amp to ab compare ,but the "sound quality" was better than my 3800 with 7 channel power ampi m sure, and the cd part win todays av amp far away . i think u will enjoy it , don't throw it ar!!!! give me report when u buy it .

this question i not sure la, may be there's soem c-hing did ab compare ge, my friend use 05 , the sound sure better than ok . if i didn't posion by my friend , i think this is the best way to play , less money , good result . u know now a days . many people still use old flagship av amp like lexicon or krell ,and buy a bluray player to decode .and they told me its better than mine for sure .
主要係無 HDMI，同埋 以我記得 DSP-A1 "好似"都有大約 十年，就算十年前有幾勁，基於係玩AV...等於玩 EFFECT,所以部 AMP無就差少少，你話以用 rca駁法，即係用 05/ 51 去做解碼，A1就做後半部，咁又要睇吓部A1個水塘用剩幾多料，若果水塘差咗，咁就點解都係差(DYNAMIC RANGE)，話晒玩咗十年，電子係有壽命。
小弟做過 AB TEST，當時首先以 HDMI 方法將 51FD駁去 O記 805，之後再以RCA駁去 相同器材，聽後發現雖然51個內解係靚料，但可惜805比佢都係優異(即係HDMI好過 RCA)，小弟回想應該係 805 既 CHIPSETS之故，其後再以 HDMI與RCA將 51FD接去 705，此時無可否應係51FD個解碼高幾班。
所以你話A1係旗艦係啱既，但都要睇下佢部機重有幾成功力，若果係成日用，就算51/05解得幾好，佢個水塘乾咗又點可以比到好效果你呢！
好與壞真係好睇解碼同埋功放呢兩PARTS

部 A1 其實好新好少用.......可以話係未用過，只係我最近呢幾個月先開始用!!
我完全明用新舊 AV AMP 分別，反而想知51/71 差幾遠.......thx!!
71 力水好過 51 幾多下喎....話晒有 ICEPOWER
ching 其實我都想問。因為我得部舊 Yamaha AMP DSP-A1，要買 bd player 但又唔想浪費左部 AMP。所以我又係想 bd analog 5.1 out 駁去 AMP。
如果 pioneer 320, 51 同 71 音效會差幾遠呢 (同 607 比)?
