以我記得我初初接觸HDMI線在四五年前，部AV機都寫明是1.3，後來又改變成1.3a，去到鴨記買線都寫明係1.3a線 ...
其實只要係high speed 嘅線已經support 3d 同ARC。1.4只係多咗 LAN 線嘅 function. 師兄有錯請多多指教。千奇唔多動氣，搞到要退會就唔好啦!{:1_259:}
HDMI傳輸制式有分 1.3 1.4
但HDMI線只有分HIGH SPEED ETC
HS HDMI 線同時SUPPORT 1.3 1.4

其實自HDMI 1.3開始, HDMI組織已發出指示, 不應以 HDMI 版本來為線材分類, 因為真正的HDMI線材規格, 只有標準線(Standard/Category 1)即 '慢線', 和高速線(High Speed/Category 2)即 '快線'兩種, 傳送頻寬分別為 74.5MHz (2.25Gbps) 和340MHz (10.2Gbps).
由於 HDMI 1.4 的傳送頻寬要求和 HDMI 1.3 是相同的, 只是HDMI 1.4加入了網絡支援, 理論上只要任何舊款HDMI線材達到了高速線 (340MHz) 標準, 均可支援HDMI 1.4訊號的傳送, 不需使用新款線材 (網絡支援功能除外).
HDMI 1.4 規格以速度和功能分類, 重新定義了 5 款 HDMI 線材, 用家可依照器材組合選用適合的線材, 一般來說選用 '高速線' 便可.
5款HDMI線材:
1. Standard HDMI Cable
慢線, 最高支援 1080i/720p 影像, 支援Audio Return Channel, 擴展色彩空間.
2. Standard HDMI Cable with Ethernet
速度與慢線相同, 加入100Mbps雙向網絡支援功能.
3. Automotive HDMI Cable
為車上高清影像系統而設計, 可承受極端震動與溫度等獨特的車用環境壓力因素.
4. High Speed HDMI Cable
快線, 支援 1080p/1440p/4k 影像, 支援 3D 與 Deep Colour.
5. High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet
速度與快線相同, 加入100Mbps雙向網絡支援功能.

As of November 18, 2010, important changes to the way HDMI cable products are sold and marketed go into effect.
The following are now mandatory for cable products.
You shall not use HDMI version numbers in the labeling, packaging, or promotion of any cable product. This includes releases of the HDMI specification (for example, HDMI 1.3, etc.), interim version numbers (for example, HDMI 1.3a, etc.) and CTS (Compliance Test Specification) version numbers (for example, 1.2, 1.3c, etc.).
All cables shall be labeled, both on the cable itself and on the front of the cable packaging, with the appropriate cable name (see below). As of November 18, 2010, compliance will be mandatory.
