BD-Live Sneak Peek: Paramount offers
25 minutes of Transformers sequel beginning June 16
Paramount Home Entertainment is offering a sneak peek of June 24 theatrical release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to consumers who buy its predecessor on DVD or Blu-ray Disc.
Starting Tuesday, June 16, people who buy Transformers in either format can watch sequel footage online through access codes inside the DVD package or via Web-enabled BD Live players with the Blu-ray version.
As well as the sequel's preview, people will be treated to 25 minutes of new bonus materials for the original film, such as a look at star Megan Fox's Transformers audition tape. Other features added to the Transformers DVD/Blu-ray include never before released deleted scenes, an exclusive look at the first day of filming "Revenge of the Fallen", special effects tests, a weapons guide and an exploration into the film's stunts.

DVD owners will be required to log into a secure microsite using an access key included with the DVD. Blu-ray owners will be able to download the new Transformers features and Revenge of the Fallen sneak peeks via BD-Live.

Unfortunately there is no indication of what the new Revenge of the Fallen footage will entail. Hopefully it isn't the German footage currently making the rounds.
