去五金鋪問下睇下,除左蚊型鋪,好多間都有不同螺絲頭組合賣,要留意必需包括幾個非常細size嘅六角頭畀mac mini 及開iphone專用...
Like urs, I mod my Mac mini 2010 to replace the original 500gb hdd with intel 120gb ssd. I also removed the optical drive out since it was out of order some time ago.
The performance of Mac was greatly improved after this change. OS responses faster and is running more silently in background.
Is NAS just the same function as USB drive? I want to know what is the benefit of NAS.

For me, I use NAS to:
1. Download things (PT)
2. Storage
If you just aim at storage, NAS really a bit expensive. You may treat a NAS as a small computer with large storage. It is a bit waste it is used as storage only.
Thanks Kenneth. I am planning to buy a Mac mini tonight for CAS, so just searching around. Most likely will change the HDD myself if run outta space.

梗係NAS,有買貴冇買錯,用NAS係好玩好多!!
多過1部機就揀nas 啦, 1 舊過所有機都用到, 連手機都可以拎到files~
得1部機唔想煩就ext. hdd 啦, 貴int. hdd 唔係好多啫~
花$158買個osx server license,set 好d profile,用盡個usb3.0去share d hdd 都得{:1_338:}
