Funny enough, i have similar experience.
The difference is I had Naim pre/power and integrated.I still like the Olive serires ,ie Nac52 but the newer Naim sound very different. Many people do not like it.it is not surprising.
What model is your AS tube amp?you could add a PS Audio PPP, it will make your AS sound even better.

Naim同膽機好似完全唔同嘅嘢,好難去比較,去代理聽過XS2,祈望大但比預期冇咁好聲,聽膽機有啲驚喜,因為冇諗過膽機動態都唔會好冇力,都好有動感.{:6_183:}

我認為Naim 唔上到前後級，nap200之類的根本唔夠力推好Proac response 系列。用膽機有「巧勁」，推出來音色係靚，但係差d氣勢，response 對對sensitivity 都係得80幾。而家有2個方案biamping:1.我有兩部5si，一部推高音、一部推低音；2. 膽機推高、5si 推低。再唔係2部5si (120W)全部vertical biamp推低音。唔好睇少Proac response，無4-5 皮前後級 130 W的石機根本用唔盡對喇叭。聽過金仔合拼（唔知咩型號），估計都要4-5皮，推rdb1 ，平衡係好左，但係中頻唔靚。
