A bare CDX2 is a social gear only.To experience hi-end source,you need to own 555PS(DR) and the cost of 555PS(DR) is HKD72,000.00.It's not expensive.On the contrary,it should priced at this level coz the performance will extract and draw the potential of CDX2 or NDX.Actually,A bare CDX2 costs $51,000 is very cheap.If you listen to other brand of CDP, you will discover that the same sonic performance will cost you more that that amount of dollars.

Remember that to taste what is hi-end CDP or source, the minimum cost will be more than $100k.Don't overestimate the performance of a bare CDX2,it is the entry of level to the reference gateway even it was added and external power supply(XPS2) unless the power supply is 555PS(DR).
