DAC question

I have some silly questions wants the chingto clarify

1. If my DVD can read SACD, can i use the DVD as CDP transport and use coaxial or optical to DAC to decode. My point is whether it is the transport issueor DAC issue. If for DACissue, which DAC can decode SACD.

2. If my CD is 24 bit or 32bit, when i rip the file , is it still 16 bit /44hzh ( i don't use ripper to upsample ) ?

1. Yes. You can allow DAC to decode the data through coaxial or optical, but it is only restricted to CD layer, not the SACD layer. There is no way to use coaxial to transfer SACD data to DAC direclty unless you have those professional transports and DACs decoding DSD, DIFF files.

2.CD is always 16bit, 44.1 even though the songs could be recorded in 24 bit . That's why people now go to buy Hi-Res files on web, like HDTracks, 2L.

1. 我用我的onkyo av amp解碼的，oppo95 用hdmi線駁av amp，oppo95 set DSD直出便可解SACD層。
一般兩聲道DAC只能夠解CD層
