I only tried it for 2ch and I was impressed. Have you tried it for movie? So it's fairly bad?{:6_199:}
I was considering an AV amp plus a 2ch amp too. But say I pick Pearl lite and an average AV AMP, they likely cost more than the Arcam 360. And the 360 does sound much better than Pearl Lite.So, I am trying to find what other options there are besides Arcam 360 around that price range too.
Have you tried Yamaha? Many say it's good and the price does look attractive. But every time I hear it, in MK or KEF with good speakers, the sounds were very dull and suppressed, not sure if it's becoz of the setting.

Marantz and Arcam is match with yr speaker...
but for Yamaha =.=
if you rely on yamaha for movie that will give a better performance compared with marantz~but music part you better hv another amp for that~
but i really think that's a bit over if you buy arcam 360 (av amp) for music and add another av amp for movie~~
why not try the second hand 7005 on review 33~
if the buyer buy on July that's close to a brand new one~~

Ching buy the same system as mine.
I got the system for a month now... Now considering changing my speaker cable.Can't make up my mind yet.
I bought SR7005 before crazy price drop as well.Thus, mine is not cheap as well.

Oh, then wht cable u r using now? Kef suggest use xlo hts12, around $55 feet (discounted), don't know it's sound, but a Ching famous in hifi cable suggest me is SFH signature 3, and not exp for my cable for LS50 and my XQ50, just buy but not yet set up, let me give u a report later la! Enjoy yr LS50 Ching!
