all contrast ratio is 6,000,000: 1 for VT50 series. (I presume filter used affecting contrast ratio)
It is strange that JP ZT5 series, the list contrast ratio only 5,500,000: 1.
Tired to list key data from Asia catalog and old model info regarding picture quality between different series.

If just compare key data,
1) The performance of 50st50 should be comparable to 50vt30 but much cheaper price.
2) It is better to buy 50st50 instead of 50st30 as performance should be much better but not much expensive.
3) The improvement of 55vt50 compared to 50vt30 looks obvious.
4) If looking for big screen hong goods with price concern, 65vt30 is the only option as it is now below HKD 40k.
5) If looking for big screen, latest model and willing to take risk, import from China (220v, PAL & built-in digital tuner same as HK) or US (110v, NTSC, additonal digital tuner required but overall much cheaper) could be another option.

所以plasma 電影感會強烈啲～我嗰陣買東芝部sv650 直下式背光就係貪佢用直接光；對比度真係好高 {:6_193:}

國內賣人仔$29990.
但國內冇2500Hz功能.唉~~~~
咁55＂大約幾錢到？想買55＂但係st又得50＂....
