I bought Mytek DAC months ago and have been saving money to buy Wilmer's amp ever since. I should be able to get the amp next or next next month.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion of YS-Audio. I like Nelson's amp combo (Ref One pre + power) very much, but they are all too expensive to me (>60K)!! Nelson also recommended me choosing some high quality "old" DAC, but since I am using notebook (USB), I chose Mytek. I feel some regret now!!

Ching 講得無錯呀，我儲咗好耐錢先買到，依家繼續進發，慢慢添加，聽到聲音轉變，亦係一種樂事。

其實40K可以玩到好多好嘢。每個價位都有高c／P value。
8k-10k買cdp
10k-15k買AMP
10k-15k買speakers
仲可以有餘錢買補品。 其實師兄可比上去what hi fi 個網站，裏面介紹不同價位器材. 師兄可詳細參考。

十幾年前買第一個AMP Cyrus 2 就係睇完外國HiFi雜誌，再去MK 試，都用左over 10年。
而家向SSP二手店，都有人揾呢件經典嘢{:1_262:} website, 自己揾喜歡的神器：{:9_408:}

regret用CAS定regret買左mytek?
用CAS就焗住買新DAC，冇得後悔架，等於用開LP盤又想播新出的CD所以轉CD盤，轉左又後悔冇LP咁有味道，魚與熊掌想兼得，一係俾多D錢。
我呢個星期好忙，下星期應該ok，但真心話呢個時期我覺得你唔適宜家訪，建議你安定一段時間，聽多D、調校好D自己的系統先，至少等你D器材黎齊晒、煲好、調校好先，聽一段時間先。否則你的心情只會更忐忑，行左行右都唔知點好！ regret用CAS定regret買左mytek?

Nick, you are exactly right. CAS is not as easy as I thought and the investment on its accessories (even computer) is out of my expectation. Its sound is very different from LP and old style CDPs, which makes me feel a lot uncomfortable.
You are also right that I should concentrate on my gears first. I am just using a $20 usb cable for Mytek with a several hundred dollars Northwire powercord; so I might only reveal 50% of its potential. Worst of all, my present amp is not good enough to drive my speakers. I can now only listen to some very "light" music pieces as pieces with complicated mixed of instruments or with rich dynamics will become mess in my present setup. 早兩日落左啲音響鋪問下4萬蚊可以點砌套野，佢介紹左部naim又係amp又係player既all in one機 兩萬蚊 加對 B﹠W CM8 2萬蚊， 岩岩好。
請問各位意見
