Which one affect the file quality in ripping

C Ching

I am a baby in CAS. I plan to use EAC to rip file to Wav and i will buy some hardware to rip the file. Which one is important in priority

1. SSD
2. O/S - Mac or Window O/S
3. Memory
4. New DVD rom
5. A noiseless power supply
6. Rip software

IMHO:
Rip software most important,
new and good DVD-ROM also worth, may help to rip faster while maintain the same accurate, but not means better sound.

SSD and noiseless power supply (should be whole computer noiseless) are important for playback, not so important for ripping CD.

    最衰plextor好似冇出caddy....同埋之前我d scsi plextor唔知去左邊....{:6_140:}

以前就plextor好，依家再出的已經係Lite-On肉，冇以前的plextor了！

    Is it a new external DVD rom is better than a internal DVD rom and which rip software is better in Mac and window O/S. At the same time, if SSD is important for playback, thenSSD is important for O/S start up or just for storage.

EAC咪幾好。
用SSD除了快，最主要原因係冇磨打，最好整部電腦冇磨打是fanless。

    兩組問提,小弟愚見:
internal在scsi上會好d。不過Mac好似唔玩scsi.
startup 同 storage都係ssd勁。read ssd好正，但write就有d保留。

小弟覺得 RIP software 最重要，我對 EAC 最有信心；而 EAC 只有 Windows 版本。其次係 ROM drive。

1. Rip software
2. O/S - Mac or Window O/S
3. New DVD rom

其他 SSD、noiseless power supply 等等，如果部機將會負責播歌就有影響，如果只用作 RIP 歌，就可以不理。

BTW, 如果決定用 EAC，記得做 offset correction test。個 test 要用 EAC 指定o既 CD（其中任何一隻）。

what is the purpose to do: 記得做 offset correction test???
what disadventage if without doing such testing???
