I don't find any different in playing internet and intranet streamed video, similar performance in Hitv, those lag will lag in both player, those smooth will also smooth.
my local network is giganet, internet is bb100.M3d player is also 100mb lan, m3d's ching still can see smooth network streamed 3d bd iso movie in their players.By the way, hd910a has one usb3 for using external usb 3.0 harddisc.hd900a/b has only usb2.0 for usb harddisc, hd900a/b's usb3 only for pc connection, not for usb 3.0 external harddisc.

hd 910a still can play network streamed bdmvsmoothly despite it's 100m lan, same as n3
