My experience is OS also affects smoothness.
I hv a quad core desktop with xp, and a notebook with win7, win 7 runs better.
Also USB is asynchronous, so might be the reason?真係豪哥!!!

黎黎去去2，3位啫，可能相對hifi器材來說部機唔算貴，評價也不錯，買的人數多。

太多因素了，OS有分別也要在同一部機裝不同OS才能比較，兩部電腦唔同硬件已經唔同晒聲。
換條USB線又唔同聲，再玩仔細D，唔同的USB插口都會唔同的，因為落在不同的share IRQ，會同其他硬件share，串連得最少的一個USB插會最好聲。
想認真玩的話不妨一一比較一下。

原裝機唔換野唔mod時，聲音是理性、分析型，空氣感不錯，尾韻頗長。
聽說只要換了opamp，可以180度轉變成厚實型，我未識玩換opamp。

我部netbook 都係行Win7，用ssd，可以停得的service都停咗，部機除咗播歌，其他野都做唔到，連上網唔得
用另一部i3的"正常" notebook就好似冇窒
