如果 Synology USB 直入 NDAC 唔係最好既話, 咁就要諗下買 NDX / ND5XS 喇. 但係我唔知呢兩件野既 DAC 同 Naim DAC 會唔會相差得太遠.

係 synology 有 Audio DS. 可以USB 宜入 DAC. Audio DS 有 software control for iPhone 同 Android. 都o ...

Dear ivanyiu Hing,

I have also connected my Iphone (DS Audio Apps) to NAIM DAC via USB cable.I found the sound quality is good.To my understanding, it may be the same signal (WAV file), streaming from my synology to the DAC thro the DS Audio (via USB), as that by NAIM ND5XS, because the file is decoded by DAC but not ND5XS.

As I have no ND5XS, can you give comment to the combination between Iphone (DS Audio) with DAC and ND5XS with DAC?There is a very big difference in the cost between Iphone/Synology and ND5XS.

    If you don't have the ND5XS now and already using the Naim DAC. I think you don't need the ND5XS.

If you got the ND5XS, the different is your ND5XS replace DS Audio to retrieve the sound file directly. Properly the quality will be better to play directly using ND5XS but really need to test only.

My plan is to get the Naim DAC directly. Since even I've got the ND5XS, i still need to setup the NAS. If DS audio is good enough to play the transport role. I won't consider the network player from Naim.

    哦. 有 NDX 又同. 其實我都諗緊入 DAC 好定係入 ND5-XS. 如果 synology 可以直入 DAC 既. 好似 DAC 化算D. 不過怕佢driver 唔 support.
