Noise when connection to iMAC

Hi all,I have the following connected:

iMAC > TP60 > QUAD LITE.

There is a non-stop buzz sound when all things are connected and turned on without playing any music.However, it doesn't happen when I connect the system to a iPod.Anyone got the same problem?

I want to add a DAC later.I have a pair of IQ30 and this pair of QUAD for my game room.Wondering which one would be better off.For power cable, I am still using the stock one.Want to DIY one this week.

Try disconnect the ground wire of the powe cord

    I think I will make a US plug cable for the TP60 =) hope it helps.

Not using the ground wire is to cut and aviod a ground loop, ground loop did produce noise, it is regardless about what type or plug you using.

No ground is no dangerous, but the L and N phase must be correct
