If I remember your unit has a flaky headphone jack? It would be better to send your unit back in a couple of months if you can afford to wait, as we are planning to offer an "Enhancement kit" consisting of the new transformer and a new OLED display.
As the display has been so universally loved by all the DQ has an OLED display which is still the same format as the LCD (20x2) - but OLED instead of LCD - this should make everyone happier - thus the latest delay for the DQ release, all DQ's will be factory fitted with OLED from start of production.
Not only does the OLED offer a Brighter / Higher contrast display, but we also have added a double height display mode, so that the lower line of characters can be "stretched" to double height - does not look as bad as it sounds, and at least you can read the display from the other side of a small room.
So having taken note to everyone’s Emails and feedback - and to keep everyone happy, in the coming months we plan to make the parts for the OLED upgrade kits FREE of charge to existing customers, BUT with a "1 Hour Service charge" as its a time consuming procedure to strip down the units and replace the display module - hardest part of the job is to remove the old LCD display and remove the solder from the PCB pads to fit the new display - I can already feel the Service Techs hating me... And I don't blame them!
If the new transformer proves to improve the SQ as I suspect, then we will make these also available as an upgrade part (at unit cost - I expect after shipping from China something like GBP20 to GBP30) - its easy to replace the transformer when the unit is stripped down for the OLED display update - so it makes sense to upgrade both parts at the same time with latest software for the 1 hour service charge + the transformer unit cost (+ shipping if applicable).
Nothing yet is set in stone as we are still scrabbling to secure stock of the transformers and Displays for current production (we have the very first OLED display glass from the production line in this display format) - and we will need to ship components and instructions to the UK / Distributors around the world - so I expect 2 to 3 months before things start rolling out... 回復kwokchi

seems like the audiolab is listening to their users' comments on their products, as it is quite costly for them to make a parts change for a product that is already in production.for most other manufacturers, they'd most likely take the chance to call the model with new parts as 'mark II' or 'special edition' to earn the marketing response.
